Well the detail is a combination of sculpting, texturing and shading... you have to work with all three. I don't pay much attention to polycounts with models like this, since it's not a game mesh. Let's say it's very heavy
haha fair enough the heaviest sculpt I worked on was 26 million but because I am learning game development I had to re-topo it so I lost some of the detail, do you have any tips on getting a really nice clean texture? my textures are a bit bland and I am never very happy with them but I am eager to learn more!
