This is just a shading exercise but I needed to do it on something so I made a mannequin to go with the dress :) I textured the face at first but didn't like the look as much as this one, which was inspired by the excellent History of Fashion books from the Kyoto Institute, which unfortunately didn't cover the Tudor period. So I made my own exhibit and it's supposed to look like a mannequin not a human;)

XSI practice.

EDIT: THANKS VERY MUCH FOR THE DD and all the comments :)

Tudor Gown by ~Intervain is the most beautiful 3D dress I have ever seen. The fabric and the fur make me want to reach into my monitor and touch them, and the design and the details are perfect, too. (Featured by `joannastar)
